Katie Lyons trained at Emjay School of Dance, and then as a Pre Senior and full time student at Central School of Ballet in London. After graduating from Central, her first job was in the USA at Ballet West in Utah. She has also performed with various companies, theatres and choreographers around Europe as a classical and contemporary dancer, including English National Ballet, National Dance Company Wales, Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, Wayne McGregor, DV8 Physical Theatre, English National Opera, Scottish Opera, and Ballet Ireland.
In 2010, Katie joined Matthew Bourne's New Adventures. She has performed in, and created roles in, many of his productions, including Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Early Adventures; Romeo + Juliet (swing, dance captain, Juliet); Cinderella (ensemble and Cinderella), Sleeping Beauty (ensemble and Aurora) The Car Man (Principal), and The Red Shoes (ensemble and Vicky Page). She toured  around the world with the company for 10 years and also performed at the Southampton Mayflower! In 2020, Katie was asked to join Central School of Ballet as a Ballet Tutor and rehearsal assistant. She now teaches and coaches Ballet, Pointe, solos and Repertoire. She is especially grateful to everyone at Emjays for believing in her and nurturing her, for giving her determination, and for introducing her to the world of performing!

Maddie started dancing at the age of 3 and attended Emjay School of Dance. Here she learnt commitment, discipline and her love for dance. She went on to complete her Advanced 2 qualifications in modern, tap (ISTD) and ballet (RAD). 

From a young age she regularly competed in competitions including the All England Dance Finals.

Maddie then went on to train at ArtsEd and received a BA honours in Musical Theatre. 

Her theatre credits include starring in 42nd Street on the West End, Drury Lane and playing Sleeping Beauty at the prestigious Nottingham Playhouse. 

Her television credits include playing the violin for The X factor Finals 2017-2019, TFI Friday Christmas Special and Olivier Awards 2016 and 2017 (ROH).

Her radio credits include The Chris Evans Breakfast Show (BBC Radio 2) and Friday Night is Music Night – Rodgers and Hammerstein. 

SARAH KACEYSarah Kacey graduated London Studio Centre with a BA (hons) degree and went on to perform in London’s west end and around the country. Sarah’s theatre credits include: Ensemble in 42nd Street at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, in London’s West End; Sally Simpson in Tommy: The Rock Opera at the Opera House, Blackpool; Francesca / Amy and Assistant Dance Captain in Can Can at The Union Theatre, London; Ensemble and Understudy Cinderella in Cinderella; Ensemble and Understudy Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, both at Theatre Royal Windsor; Dance Captain, Ensemble and Understudy Abanazar in Aladdin; Ensemble and Understudy Sleeping Beauty in Sleeping Beauty, both for the Towngate Theatre, Basildon; and Dance Captain, Ensemble and Understudy Cinderella in Cinderella at Regent Theatre, Ipswich.Sarah’s television appearances include: 42nd Street performances for The Olivier Awards at the Royal Albert Hall and This Morning at Television Centre; 42nd Street film release for UK and American cinema; and featured ensemble for ‘The One Show: A Tribute to the BBC’. Sarah also performed as a featured vocalist for ‘Teatum Jones: London Fashion Show’.Sarah has also become a personal trainer, training at several boutique studios in London as well as 121 clients in person and online. Sarah’s time at Emjay was and is a huge and wonderful part of her life, of which she holds lots of fond and happy memories.

Abi trained at Trinity Laban, gaining a BA Hons in Musical Theatre 

Most recently she played Madge Hardwick in Top Hat the Musical, and other credits include, California Suite (Royal Court Theatre Company) and the lead role of Lily in Ruthie Henshaw's production of Money Makes the world go around (Three Pin Productions) Alongside this Abi has worked for several cruises lines including P&O Cruises, Cunard Line and Fred Olsen.Whilst working at sea she also had the chance to work with Stephen Mulhern on his premiere show, “Astonishing”, fusing together song and dance with his passion for magic. 
Locally Abi has been the lead singer for several charity songs in association withThe Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and covered voiceovers for local businesses. 
A key highlight of her career was also performing in the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Claire graduated in 2009 with a National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre from Performers College.

She went on to work in the Greek islands as a Cabaret Singer before touring Ireland playing Cinderella in Pantomime, she was later picked to join the cast on a P&O cruise liner as a Dancer/Singer where she also performed as a Marilyn Monroe tribute act. 

      Claire later worked with The Glad Rags Production Company, A Hampshire based musical theatre company where she performed in various different productions, events and cabarets over the course of two years.

Claire is currently building her teachers experience working as a freelance dance and musical theatre teacher, she graduated with a DDI in Modern Theatre Dance and wishes to progress gaining her DDE in ISTD teachers examinations.

Alexie Carter, Elodie Dabreo, Annabelle and Alice Rock have auditioned successfully and gained a place for the Mayflower Theatre production of Summer Holiday. 

Lydia O'Donovan has succesfully gained a place at Front and Centre Elite Training. 

Phobe Rogers hs successfully gained a place with Hampshire Youth Dance. 

Over the years we have had numerous Emjay pupils, continue training at prestigious Performing Arts Colleges: Birds, Urdang, London Studio Centre, Laines, The Brighton Academy, Arts Educational, Tring, Central School of Ballet and the list continues. 
Previous Emjay dancers have secured places at the Royal Ballet School - lower and upper school residential.

Many pupils have danced professionally in West End contracts such as Phantom of the Opera, The Nutcracker (Royal Ballet) and the list goes on. 
Previous Emjay dancers have secured contracts as performers on cruise ships such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Costa Cruises. 
Previous dancers have secured professional pantomime contracts. 

Many have gone on to become teachers at above prestigious colleges and universities all over the UK.
